It reminds me of that famous Margaret Atwood quote: “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” It also reminds me of something written by one of the mods of Sex Worker Problems: “Misandry irritates. Misogyny kills.”

My grandmother is back in the hospital this morning so I’ve been kind of a mess all morning. Linda stopped by to give me a card and some money for my trip because I “deserve a good time after everything”. Tried not to breakdown crying. And on that note, I’m on a higher mg of valerian and it puts me somewhere between “just had 3 glasses of wine” and “zombie” on the activity scale. I may not be the most productive today but at least I won’t be sobbing in the fitting room.
It’s 70 degrees with 92% humidity at 8AM. I’m supposed to do c25k this morning but I already want to die just thinking about it right now.
